Kittson SWCD Drill Program
The Kittson Soil and Water Conservation District has a Truax No-Till Drill available to rent for use on lands in Kittson County. This drill is ideal for establishing Conservation Reserve Program (CRP) acres and native grasses, alfalfa, and other species. The Truax FLX-11 816 grass drill was purchased in the spring of 2016.
Rental rates are $15 an acre plus a non-refundable drop charge of $75 for in-county rentals. This drop charge includes the 1 acre minimum charge.
Landowner/operator must pay the deposit and complete the Kittson SWCD Drill Rental Agreement before use. Call or stop by the office for details.
