Beaver Damage Control Program
Have a problem with nuisance beavers in your area? The Kittson Soil and Water Conservation District have a bounty in place on those pesky beavers that ultimately do damage to township roads and private property.
Elgibility: Individuals who are looking to be paid need to show the Kittson SWCD where the beaver is caught on a map and the beaver's tail needs to be brought into the office. The beaver trapper needs to show a Minnesota DNR Special BeaverPermit or provide their DNR Number to the landowner to receive the bounty.
Payment: The Kittson SWCD may reimburse an individual $50 per beaver tail that is brought into the SWCD office. Contact the Kittson SWCD for more information and availability of funding.
