State Cost Share
State Cost Share Funds are State of Minnesota funds granted annually to the Kittson SWCD by the Board of Soil and Water Resources (BWSR) to assist land owners with implementing practices for erosion control, sedimentation conrtrol or water quality improvements. Land owners request funding and assistance for projects designed to protect and improve soil and water resources through the Kittson SWCD. Requests are approved by the the Kittson SWCD board of managers. The maximum cost share rate for projects is 75%. Payments are made once the practice has been completed according to specification.

- living snow fence
- Grass filter strips
- grassed waterways
- grade stabilization structures
- Side water inlets
