Tree Program
The 2025 tree order form is now available! Please place your orders before March 2025. Supplies are limited.
The Kittson SWCD annually sells thousands of trees to county landowners at a reduced cost for conservation. These trees are bare root stock conservation grade except for the 1 & 2 gallon potted Scotch Pine, Black Hills Spruce, and White Spruce.
The tree program was started to promote conservation and help residents create a more beautiful, healthy, and ecologically balanced environment. Many of the county’s farmstead and field windbreaks, wildlife habitat plantings, and reforestation efforts were started as a result of this program.
Technical advice and planting assistance is available on all tree orders. A list of our tree planting services can be found here.
