Re-Invest in Minnesota (RIM)
|
Reinvest in Minnesota is a state funded conservation easement program that focuses on restoring native habitats such as wetlands, grasslands, and riparian zones.
Land owners who enroll their land in a RIM easement retain ownership of the land but agree to place the land under an easement that permanently protects the native resources. Land owners receive reimbursement for enrollment and assistance to restore the native vegetation. This state program is managed by the Minnesota Board of Soil and water Resources and the Kittson Soil and Water Conservation District. Click here for more information on RIM easements. |
